Gathering Friends is a quilt shop located in Bird Island, Minnesota. Kathryn will talk about the history of the shop, how she got started in quilting and will present several of the patterns that she has designed over the years.

Molly recently started Gone Sleeveless, a company that sells a quilt hanging system for any shape. Molly has taken her love of quilting “out of the box” and her knowledge of pattern design (AutoCAD) to create a fantastic and easy hanging system for any quilt.

Lori Allison is a quilt designer from Prior Lake who will be doing a slide show presentation on Color. She’ll talk about color theory, provide some of the latest color trends in quilting and give lots of inspiration for using color. She also has a trunk show of some of her quilt patterns.

Quilts Remembered will be introducing us to the history of Redwork. People of all ages have enjoyed Redwork as a pastime from the late 1800s to the late 1930s. Annemarie will be presenting a fabulous trunk show of these embroidered pieces of art.

Laura will be presenting works and designs using Paintstiks. Laura creates and sells beautiful stencils and rubbing plates to enhance the surface of your fabrics. She also hand dyes Kimono silks and will have those available.
