Notes from the Presidents

It is hard to believe two years have gone by.  In the last two years, we have had fun arranging programs that we hope you have enjoyed, and being your Presidents. The guild is up to 167 members and many are new members. It is wonderful to see new people finding out about our guild. Wrapping up the year is a sad/glad time. We think back to the many great new friends that we have made, the new experiences we have had but it is with joy that we turn over the reigns to the new board. Thank you to all who have stepped forward to fill the positions on the board. There is only one vacancy and that is Historian.    Welcome to the new 2012 Board.

This was the year of the best quilt show ever. Each show just gets better and better. There are so many talented members that we are in awe of. Thank you to the Quilt Show Committee who have worked so hard for the last two years to plan an awesome quilt show. Also, thank you to all who volunteered time and entered quilts. Without all of you, we would not have such a great show.

As Christmas nears, our thoughts turn to family, friends, and all that is important to us. We send cards, letters and touch base with friends and distant family at this time of the year, but we have become more aware that we should do this all year long. The loss of dear family members and friends makes us more aware of all our blessings. We would like to pass on to each of you the very best wishes for a Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.

Thank you for the privilege of being your 2011 Presidents,   Beth & Karen
